Terms of Service

Last updated: September 15, 2026

1. The service

apillms (“we”, “us”) operates an API gateway and web dashboard: authenticated endpoints that route, meter and bill requests for text, image, video and speech workloads, served on infrastructure we operate and by upstream model capacity we procure under commercial agreements (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts and API keys

You must provide a valid email address and be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your API keys secret. Rotate a key immediately from the dashboard if you believe it has been exposed.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to create or distribute:

See the full Acceptable Use Policy. You must also comply with the usage policies of the underlying model providers. You may not resell raw API access, attempt to circumvent rate limits or billing, or probe the Service for vulnerabilities. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Credits, pricing and payment

The Service is paid with prepaid credits (1 credit = US$0.005). Credits are purchased in advance through our merchant of record, Polar Software Inc. (“Polar”), which processes payments, calculates taxes and issues invoices. Credits are consumed per request at the price shown in the dashboard and API at the time of the request. Requests that fail or return an empty result are not charged; failed media jobs are refunded to your balance automatically. Prices may change; changes never affect requests already completed.

5. Your content and outputs

You retain your rights in the inputs you submit and, to the extent permitted by law and the model provider’s terms, in the outputs generated for you. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before use; AI outputs can be inaccurate. Generated media files are stored temporarily and deleted automatically.

6. Availability and changes

Models may be added, changed or removed at any time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or where required by law. Refund eligibility on termination follows the Refund Policy.
